Creating football's future female leaders

We take 14-20 year old girls and equip them with the confidence, esteem and skills to pursue a career in football.

We do this with one-off events, a mentoring programme and volunteering placements across Kent.

Founded by Charlotte Richardson, the Eighth Wonder Programme is delivered in partnership with the Kent Football Association, to empower and equip young women with the tools to build a career in the football industry whilst supporting the grassroots game.

We're forming our own super girl-gang! With support from a number of organisations, leagues and businesses dedicated to creating a better, bolder future for the eighth wonder of this world - women.

About the Eighth Wonder programme

Founded in 2016, the Eighth Wonder programme is a charitable scheme set up to address gender imbalance and inequality in the beautiful game.

The Eighth Wonder programme offers 14-20 year old women a unique opportunity to break into the world of football, with a thoughtful and tailored programme provided for each participant, to kick-start their journey.
